About
The Chinese American Bar Association (CABA) was formed in the early
1990s, and was formally incorporated in 1996.
According to its by-laws, CABA's purpose is:
a) to foster the exchange of ideas and information among and between
members and members of the legal profession, the judiciary and the
community
b) to encourage and promote the professional growth of the members of
the Association
c) to provide and promote coordinated legal services to the Chinese and
Asian community in the Chicago metropolitan area
d) to provide a forum for developing a unified opinion of the
Association on topics of concern to the Chinese/Asian community of the
Chicago metropolitan area
