The Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC) has a number of job openings and it would be very interested in applications from Illinois Law grads.
In particular, the Learning and Development Manager position is a great opportunity for a recent grad who is interested in a public interest or government career. Although the posting says “A minimum of three years curriculum and course development experience, teaching or administrating continuing education for adult learners preferred” in practice, it seriously considers candidates with JDs who have little or no curriculum or course development experience, but who do have an interest in improving the court system through the planning of continuing education and a willingness to learn adult education best practices. Here’s the link to all of its current job postings.
