The Chinese American Bar Association announced today that its lifetime achievement award will be renamed to the Laura C. Liu Lifetime Achievement Award to honor the late Justice Laura C. Liu, the organization’s president in 1992-1993. The award is presented to a member who has displayed a lifetime of exemplary service to the community and the organization. “CABA is honored to name the award after Justice Liu,” states President Courtney Fong. “Justice Liu’s work continues to serve the community in the many lives that she impacted, including mine.”
