On October 13, 2021, CABA hosted its 35th Annual Installation Gala at Bridge 410. This year, about 70 people attended the in-person event.
In order to ensure the safety of all the attendees, CABA enforced a policy that required all of the attendees to show their own vaccination cards or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 2 days prior to the event date. CABA also provided extra masks, cleaning wipes, and hand sanitizer at the event site.
Judge Edmond E. Chang, District Court Judge for the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois, gave a brief talk on the importance of teaching Asian Pacific American history through sharing his own experiences.
CABA then presented the awards to three deserving awardees. Congratulations to all three honorees:

Rising Star Award: Eric Zhi
