The Children's Legal Center needs some urgent help! They have about 115 families on their waitlist for intakes and I-589 forms. To meet this growing demand, they are aiming to hold a large full-day event with the goal to help 40 families in one day. Chicago-Kent College of Law will host the event. They are asking as many law students and attorneys to volunteer a day on January 13th starting at 8:45 am. The goal would be to get 40 families through intake and complete I-589 in the day. To meet this goal, the Center needs 40 attorneys/law students to volunteer. If you are able to volunteer a day of your time, you can make a huge impact on families that have been waiting for legal services.
